Portugal is known for its rich history, stunning landscapes, and world-famous wine regions. One such region is the Dão, located in the northern central part of Portugal.

The Dão region is famous for its high-quality wines, unique terroir, and rich cultural heritage. The climate is characterised by cold, rainy winters and hot, dry summers. The Dão Region is framed by three mountain massifs – Buçaco, Caramulo and Serra da Estrela – which preserve it from the Atlantic winds and provide it with very special climatic conditions.
